3/4" or 1" Valve w/Blue Float

The Tru-Test Apex Xtraflo 3/4" or 1" Trough Valve is a full flow - diaphragm activated, armless, self-cleaning valve mechanism. It's design reduces stock damage and minimizes blockage. It has an above water float adjustment, cord cleat for shutting off valve and a 1 1/2" water level differential from open to close. You can mount this valve on the bottom or on the side and has a bouyancy equal to a 6" round float. Minimum inlet pressure 5 PSI, Maximum inlet pressure 150 PSI.

Installation

• Flush lines thoroughly
• Use thread seal tape and hand tighten
• Set float and tie off cord
• To lock the valve in the closed position, jam the cord at the cleat lock with valve closed.

Top Entry Conversion Kit contains adjustable arm, nuts and 115mm ball float, to convert the armless XtraFlo valve to the Top Entry version.

Cleaning

• Unscrew the cap using the Trough Mate tool
• Check that the lever operates freely*
• Remove the diaphragm, clean, inspect for wear or damage*, clean filter
• Clean and inspect the seat
• Lightly lubricate the jet center slide & diaphragm seal with silicone grease
• Place the diaphragm in the body
• Screw the cap back on to the valve body
• Tighten with the Trough Mate tool, aligning the cord cleat of the cap opposite the body outlet

*If the valve requires new parts, obtain and fit a repair kit (XFRK). Refer to 'Servicing' video.
