The shutoff & drain kit is designed specifically for the Pride of the Farm Polar Max waterers. The kit provides the ability to turn off the water supply to individual drinkers on a water line. It helps take one waterer out of service while keeping other waterers available to livestock. The valve is located at the bottom of the supply line riser, typically at a depth of 48" and should remain frost free. when the shutoff valve is closed, the braided, flexible supply line is drained so that it will not freeze. A PVC handle connects the underground shutoff valve to the compartment in the top of the drinker for quick & convenient access.
